HiveBio was created to help 1st-time Life Science Founders access the funding, mentorship, and strategic networks needed to turn innovative science into successful companies. 

 

The program is the brainchild of Dr. Tia Lyles-Williams, an award-winning biotech executive and pioneering entrepreneur. She is the first African American queer woman to own and lead a biotechnology manufacturing company and has built a career breaking barriers in the life sciences industry and helping others do the same. 

 

LaunchBio CEO Becky Beattie co-founded HiveBio after years of recognizing the barriers many talented founders face in accessing the resources needed to grow and fund their companies. In partnership with Dr. Tia Lyles-Williams, she helped build HiveBio to give promising founders the support needed to turn innovation into impact.
